Gibraltar is located on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula at the entrance of the Mediterranean (6.8 km² – 30 thousand inhabitants). It has a northern border with Spain. The shoreline measures 12 km. The Rock of Gibraltar is the major landmark of the region. The Capital City is Gibraltar.
