Nepal is located in Himalayas and bordered to the north by China to the south, east and west by India (147,181 km²- 27 million inhabitants). The mountainous north of Nepal has  eight of the world ten tallest mountains including the highest point of Earth, the famous Mt. Everest (8,848 m). More than 250 peaks over 6,000 m above sea level are located in Nepal. The Capital City of Nepal is Kathmandu.
