Tanzania, the world's 31^st-largest country (945,2000 km² - 42.8 million inhabitants). The country is situated in East Africa. It is bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west, and Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique to the south. The country's eastern borders lie on the Indian Ocean. The Capital City is Dar es Salaam.
